London feed wheat for May 2025 fell for the third consecutive day to £163.10, down 5.7% from last week's closing price of £172.95. The carry to July 2025 widened to £5.15. Domestic futures have largely followed US and EU trends, with increased supply expected due to slow exports and higher yield predictions for new crop.

On Hectare Trading, feed wheat received price offers up to £199 in Central Scotland for January 2026 movement, with a bid spread of £15, £188 in Scottish Borders for May 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £7, and £177 in the South West for July 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £5.

Paris milling wheat for May 2025 fell to £178.88 (€209.50), down 0.8% from last week's closing price of £180.37 (€211.25). The carry to December 2025 narrowed to £5.34. On Hectare Trading, Group 4 wheat (soft) saw price offers of £183 in North East Scotland for June 2025 movement.

Paris rapeseed for May 2025 fell to £442.71 (€518.50), down 3.1% from last week's closing price of £456.80 (€535.00), but remains close to its contract high of £455.52 (€533.50) and at a significant premium to new crop. Old crop rapeseed has diverged somewhat from the wider vegetable oil complex which has seen some gains this week. New crop prices have been supported by news of potential negotiations between the US and China, the biggest buyer of US soyabean. August 2025 movement fell to £405.99 (€475.50), down 0.3% from last week's closing price of £407.27 (€477.00), but up 0.3% on the harvest price this time last year. The carry to November 2025 widened to £3.20.

Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, feed beans achieved price offers of £222 in West Midlands for April 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £7. Feed barley received offers up to £170 in Central Scotland for April 2025 movement and £160 in East Midlands for May 2025 movement, with a bid spread of £6.
