You own your data. Hectare will only use data the owner gives us permission to use and will delete any identifiable data should you end the relationship with us.

Data is stored in the cloud using Amazon Web Services that meet or exceed industry standards. Hectare takes security measures to protect the privacy and security of your data and we regularly review our security measures to continue to keep your data safe. In the event of a natural disaster, data breach, or other unforeseen event that causes your data to be compromised, we will notify you in accordance with our privacy policy.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We collect usage statistics, performance metrics, etc. to help with the continued development of new features, security, reliability and other improvements. We will only use anonymised aggregated usage data in order to provide and improve the services to you. We may also interpret the aggregated data in order to publish reports which benefit the owner of the data and any data published will always be anonymised and de-identified. None of this data is ever identifiable to a specific person or customer and we do not allow our customer’s data to be used for the purposes of promotion or selling products and services.

It's easy to list your crop for sale. Simply choose ‘request a price’, list your crop and send it out to 100s of interested buyers. Then all you have to do is sit back to wait for price offers to come in.

This is very easy to do with Hectare Trading. When listing your crop, you can enter a preferred range of movement months, buyers will then offer you prices per month so you can easily see the carry being offered for forward movements. Don’t worry though as you’re not locked in - you’re free to accept an offer for any month you like the price for.

Yes, you can always sell more tonnage than you listed on Hectare Trading. This gives you the flexibility to make the most of a good price. You simply list a range of tonnage, buyers will offer prices based on a min and max tonnage they need and you control how much you sell to them within that range. You can even sell to more than one buyer if you choose, maximising the opportunities to achieve a fair price.
