London feed wheat for July 2025 rose to £158.35, up 0.7% from last week's closing price of £157.20. Domestic wheat prices remain under pressure as sterling strengthened against the dollar, falling to a new three-year low following poor US employment data. The carry to November 2025 was unchanged at £21.00.
On Hectare Trading, feed wheat received price offers up to £180 in North East Scotland for July 2025 movement, and saw price offers up to £171 in East Anglia for January 2026 movement.
Paris milling wheat for September 2025 rose to £171.01 (€202.75), up 1.0% from last week's closing price of £169.32 (€200.75). The carry to December 2025 widened to £9.49.
On Hectare Trading, Group 2 wheat received price offers of £183 in the West Midlands for June 2025 movement. Group 3 wheat achieved offers up to £180 in East Anglia for October 2025 movement, with an offer range of £10.
Paris rapeseed for August 2025 rose to £405.70 (€481.00), up 1.4% from last week's closing price of £400.22 (€474.50). Paris rapeseed futures reversed early losses, as ongoing concerns about EU and Ukrainian crops encouraged buying on dips, despite pressure from strong planting progress for canola in Canada. The carry to November 2025 narrowed to £4.01.
Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, feed barley saw offers up to £171 in North East Scotland for June 2025 movement, with an offer range of £8. 2-row barley received offers up to £182 in Central Scotland for June 2025 movement, with an offer range of £7. Malting barley saw price offers up to £155 in East Anglia for June 2025 movement, with an offer range of £11.
