Milling wheat and rapeseed prices climb as feed wheat stays flat

Feed Wheat

London feed wheat for November 2025 rose slightly to £166.55, up 0.3% from last week’s £166.10. Wheat markets remain subdued as the global supply outlook remains strong and demand weak. The carry to May 2026 narrowed to £10.35.

On Hectare Trading, feed wheat received offers up to £175 in the North West for September 2025 movement, with a price offer range of £2, and was also offered at £174 in North East Scotland for February 2026 movement.

Milling Wheat

Paris milling wheat for September 2025 increased to €189.50 (£164.01), up 3.1% from €183.75 (£159.04) last week. The carry to May 2026 narrowed to £9.52.

Group 1 wheat achieved offers up to £200 in the East Midlands for July 2026 movement, with a price offer range of £5. Group 3 wheat saw offers of £167 in East Anglia for December 2025 movement.

Group 4 (hard) wheat achieved offers up to £178 in Northumberland for December 2025 movement, with an offer range of £6, while Group 4 (soft) wheat saw offers of £184 in North East Scotland for June 2026 movement.

Oilseeds

Paris rapeseed for November 2025 climbed to €466.50 (£403.76), a rise of 1.1% from €461.25 (£399.21) last week. Prices were supported by stronger Winnipeg canola and Chicago soyabean oil futures. The carry to February 2026 narrowed to just £3.68.

Other Crops

Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, feed rye received offers up to £145 in Yorkshire and the Humber for October 2025 movement, with an offer range of £7. Feed oats saw offers of £137 in East Midlands for October 2025 movement. Feed beans achieved offers up to £222 in the West Midlands for October 2025 movement, with an offer range of £7. Feed barley received offers of £160 in Yorkshire and the Humber for June 2026 movement. Malting barley was offered at £172 in the South West for March 2026 movement.
