Wheat and OSR find support in stronger dollar
Feed Wheat
London feed wheat for November 2025 rose to £167.65, up 0.8% from last week’s close of £166.25. Domestic wheat prices were supported by the recovery of the dollar and easing fears that Russian grain will flood the market. The carry to May 2026 widened to £11.25.
On Hectare Trading, feed wheat received offers up to £176 in the North West for September 2025 movement and saw offers of £175 in Central Scotland for January 2026 movement, with a price offer range of £10.
Milling Wheat
Paris milling wheat for December 2025 increased to €192.25 (£167.29), a rise of 1.3% from a closing price last week of €189.75 (£165.11).
Group 1 wheat achieved offers of £181 in the East Midlands for October 2025 movement. Group 2 wheat saw offers up to £178 in the South West for April 2026 movement. Group 3 wheat received offers of £177 in East Anglia for March 2026 movement.
Group 4 (hard) wheat achieved offers of £175 in the North West for September 2025 movement, while Group 4 (soft) wheat saw offers up to £176 in Central Scotland for October 2025 movement, with a price offer range of £10.
Oilseeds
Paris rapeseed for November 2025 edged up to €475.75 (£413.98), 0.6% higher than last week’s close of €473.00 (£411.59). Prices were supported by the weaker euro against the dollar.
Other Crop
Elsewhere on Hectare Trading, feed beans received offers up to £227 in the East Midlands for December 2025 movement, with a price offer range of £10. Feed barley achieved offers up to £156 in the South West for October 2025 movement, with a price offer range of £9. Malting barley saw offers of £160 in the East Midlands for December 2025 movement.
Milling oats achieved offers up to £139 in Yorkshire and the Humber for November 2025 movement, with a price offer range of £15, while feed oats saw offers of £130 in East Anglia for December 2025 movement.
