Feed wheat edges higher and OSR rebounds
Feed Wheat
The US government shutdown has disrupted the publication of key agricultural data, leading to market uncertainty. After finishing last week at £165.85, London feed wheat (November 2025) dipped then recovered to end Thursday at £166.75.
Feed wheat has gained offers on Hectare Trading up to £181 in Central Scotland for April 2026 movement, and £177 in the South West for December 2025 movement.
Milling Wheat
Milling wheat premiums have shrunk in recent weeks due to abundant supplies and high quality levels. Paris milling wheat (December 2025) failed to make significant gains, ending Thursday at €190.50.
Group 1 wheat gained offers on Hectare Trading up to £183 for April 2026 movement in the South West, while Group 2 wheat received £170 for November movement in East Anglia.
Some 2026 Group 4 (soft) wheat was for sale in North East Scotland, achieving offers up to £188 for November 2026 movement with an offer range of £21. Meanwhile, the highest offer for Group 4 (hard) wheat was in Yorkshire and the Humber, with £179 for February 2026 movement.
Oilseeds
Paris rapeseed (November 2025) has bounced back this week after sinking to €458.00 last Friday. Tuesday’s recovery to €466.75 was then surpassed as the market settled on Thursday at €471.75.

Feed barley achieved £158 for November movement in Mid Wales,.
