2015 - PRESENT
SellMyLivestock marketplace builds trust with thousands of livestock farmers
Spotting a need for direct farmer-to-farmer trading, founder and CEO Jamie McInnes along with beef farmer Dan Luff, used their backgrounds in tech and farming to launch SellMyLivestock.
Livestock businesses are supported every day to buy and sell online with the UK’s largest network of forward thinking livestock farmers.
2016 - PRESENT
Graindex launched to open up opportunities for grain trading
Arable farmer Andrew Huxham soon joined the team to launch Graindex, a grain trading platform, digitising crop trades between farmers and a network of verified buyers.
Graindex became the UK’s number 1 grain marketplace, offering easily accessible market opportunities for both buyers and farmers.
In 2023 Graindex was relaunched as Hectare Trading, offering exciting new features to make it easier than ever to trade with confidence.

Building Hectare for the future of sustainable agriculture
In 2021 we started to build a range of products dedicated to supporting farmers and agricultural businesses to make sustainable changes through affordable technology.
Our Inventory, Trading and Market Insights solutions each stand alone, but are at their best when used together.
